Supportive Independence is a service dedicated to falls prevention for those aged 65+ in Swindon.

The service aims to allow older people to stay connected with their local communities, increase their activity levels, and remain independent at home.

Our project workers can conduct risk-assessments and guided conversations to work with individuals to identify and reduce any risk factors which may increase their likelihood of falls.

We can also offer ongoing support and may work with a client over a few months, helping them to build up strength to the point where they can attend our Fitness & Friendship classes or other activities in their local community. This is because staying mobile helps to reduce the risk of falling.
