Social Media Volunteer
We are searching for passionate and caring volunteers to join our Team at The William and Patricia Venton Centre, Astor Drive, Mount Gould, Plymouth.
Volunteering can make a difference to you, a huge difference to our clients and Age UK Plymouth.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to assist us by handling social media interactions by responding to dialogue over channels like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other social media platforms.
The ideal volunteer would have had some experience in creating content for and administrating a range of social media platforms, preferably in a professional or corporate setting.
Are you passionate about supporting your local community? Are you someone who can help organise? Can you add a bit of sparkle to someone’s day? If the answer is yes then we would love to hear from you. To be successful in this role you need you to have a caring nature, good organisational skills, accuracy, be a good listener, relish being part of a team and be reliable.

Additional information
When completing the application form please provide information about any skills, experience, hobbies, training that you have.
We provide full training which includes; safeguarding, dementia awareness training and digital training.
Please note that a DBS Certificate and suitable references are a requirement of this role but we will guide you through these processes.
When?
Flexible. Work from home or from our head office in Mount Gould with regular catch up and planning meetings with the Communications Manager either in person or virtually.
