A partnership with us could be beneficial for your organisation by helping you meet your corporate social responsibility objectives. It's a great way to motivate employees, gain insight into the over 50s market, get some great PR and help Age UK Plymouth to support vulnerable people in the local community. How can we get involved?
There are a number of ways your organisation can partner with us.
Display a collection tin
Could you display a collection tin in your office or shop? This would help us to collect much needed donations to continue our vital work in Plymouth.
Donate a prize or service
Could you donate a prize or service to one of our fundraisers - perhaps gift vouchers or experiences - we're always looking for new and exciting ideas.
Send employees to volunteer
Could you send a team to help out at an event or activity? It's a great way for staff to bond by working together and supporting the local community. We're always looking for people to volunteer, from helping out at one of our Day Centres to marshalling an event. Previous corporate volunteers have served Christmas lunches, painted our day centre and refurbished our garden for our service users.
Set up Payroll Giving for your employees
Donating through your salary enables you to give to Age UK straight from your gross salary (before tax is deducted), giving immediate tax relief on those donations. It's also possible to donate in this way through a pension.
If your company is not registered for the scheme, they can sign up with a payroll giving agency who can process employee donations. You can find a list of payroll giving approved agencies on GOV.UK.
