Information & Advice Administrator
Age UK Plymouth provides a free service to over 50's, specialising in independent and confidential information and advice on a range of issues such as rights and entitlements, local services, information on staying safe and warm at home and housing options.
As a volunteer Information & Advice Administrator, you will work alongside our dedicated team to provide general administrative support to the department, ensuring processes run as smoothly as possible.
Your main responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Administrative Assistance and other team members to make sure that tasks are completed efficiently and support the overall function of the service.
- Assist with handling incoming and outgoing post.
- Help with scanning and printing documents, ensuring that all files are accurately digitalised and stored.
- Assist in the distribution of leaflets and information materials within the organisation.
- Support the maintenance of digital records by accurately recording documents and updates in client files on our database system.
- To maintain up to date knowledge of services, provided by Age UK Plymouth and specifically the Information & Advice department and it's role as a charity working for older people.
- Ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of all the Charity's business matters.
- To comply with the Charity's policies and procedures.
- To undertake any ad-hoc duties as and when requested.

When?
Mornings, afternoons or all-day sessions - ideally a minimum of 3-hour sessions.
