Take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for Age UK Plymouth!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585 (5200ft) of ascent.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These hills form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

We begin the challenge at 6am in Chapel le Dale (free parking provided for our participants), walking the route anti-clockwise - Ingleborough, then Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside last, finishing at the same place.

Date: Saturday 3rd May 2025
Location: Yorkshire
Cost: £15, non-refundable registration fee. This is to be made directly with Three Peaks Challenge. Then we will ask you to raise £200 which will cover the cost of your challenge and a donation to Age UK Plymouth. At least 50% of your fundraising must be with the charity 8 weeks before (Saturday 8th March 2024).
