Big Knit 2024
We need your wool power, Plymouth! The innocent Big Knit is back to craft a better future for older people.
We're so excited to announce that Age UK's partnership with innocent drinks has returned! It's that time again to grab your knitting needles and crochet hooks and get involved. What makes this campaign so special is that every hat knitted raises 30p to help Age UK provide much-needed services to support older people.
Since 2003, Age UK and innocent have teamed up to inspire the nation's crafters to knit little hats for innocent smoothie bottles. The campaign has raised an incredible £3.2 million for Age UK since it began.
The 2024/25 campaign aims to knit 1.4 million little hats, with the smoothies hitting shelves in October 2025. Here at Age UK Plymouth, we're feeling very ambitious with a target of 2,500 little hats! So why not grab your knitting needles, start stitching, and make a real difference?
