Walking Football Festival

On Wednesday 26th October Age UK Plymouth held their first ever Walking Football Festival at Brickfields Sports Centre with refreshments, pasties and a commemorative t-shirt thrown in!
All games were hard fought and scores were a close run thing! After two hours and two rounds per team there was only one point in it but Age UK Plymouth took home the win! Well done and a huge thank you to Michael, our Veterans Project Lead: “Thanks to all the referees - never an easy task!! Thanks to all the players that attended, which made a very enjoyable, dry but slightly windy morning of walking football!"
