Published on 29 June 2023 12:34 PM

Congratulations to our Day Centre Volunteer Faith who has won the "Learn to Care" Award by Scott Medical College.

Faith is currently studying for her A-Levels at Scott Medical and Healthcare College and hopes to study Psychology in the future with a focus on a career in social work. To gain more experience in care, Faith volunteers at the Day Centre and decided to raise funds to support the charity. After hosting a raffle and a bake sale Faith has raised an AMAZING £200!

"Everyone at the daycenter including all of the day guests have made a long lasting impact on me. I wouldn't be the person I am today without the experience you gave me."

MEET FAITH...

WHY AGE UK PLYMOUTH?

“I was looking for experience to support my studies and offer something a bit different.

You can see the benefit that attending the Day Centre provides the clients, it brings a light to them and allows them to spend some time out of their homes and in good company.”

WHAT DO YOU WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT AGE UK PLYMOUTH?

“There's too much to say!
The range and diversity of different people all enjoying the centre is incredible.
All abilities, ages, backgrounds, this place brings them together.”
