Our Travel with Confidence service provides support to people over 50 to increase their confidence using transport and to give more opportunities for people to make journeys to the places they want to go.
Would you like to:
• Increase your confidence using transport?
• Reach new places through travel?
• Return to places you used to go?
• Improve your health and wellbeing by getting out and about?
How will the service provide support?
The first step is to have a chat with a member of our friendly team who will talk to you about your individual circumstances and what it means to you to get out and about.
We will then come and visit you at your home to talk more about how we can support you and build a plan of sessions to help you reach your goals.
• Would you like to know more about using apps to assist with transport?
• Do you want to have more confidence in walking around your local community?
• Would like to feel more confident in using the bus?
• Would you like to try the train but are unsure of how to get a ticket or ask for assistance when
travelling?
• Have you thought about using the AccessBus but are not sure how to arrange it?

How to make a referral as a professional
We can also receive referrals from organisations supporting people who may require our support.
We are happy for you to contact us by telephone or email prior to the referral being sent if you feel that would be useful but we do require our Travel with Confidence Referral Form to be completed for a referral to move forward.
