Leeds Oak Alliance Hub Opens at St James’s University Hospital –
a one stop shop for patients, families and carers in need of extra support
Leeds Oak Alliance, a group of five citywide charities working together to provide information and support to adults living with frailty and / or at the end of their life and their carers, has opened an new innovative hub at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds.
The hub, an eye-catching addition to the Atrium in the Bexley Wing is open from 1.30pm-6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Run by staff with knowledge and experience of the five third sector organisations in Leeds, its team is ready and waiting to provide support and information for people and carers in need of a little extra help.
The friendly, experienced Leeds Oak Alliance team will talk through their visitors’ individual circumstances and requirements, supporting, signposting and directing people and carers to the most appropriate services.
The aim is to make the process fast, easy and personal, whilst ensuring the very best outcomes for service users, their families and carers.
