Would you or someone you know want to learn how to get online? At Age UK Ealing, our Digital Inclusion service encourages older learners to feel safe when using technology and motivate them so they can enjoy the benefits of using the internet.

We operate a 6-week programme for Beginners (no previous knowledge) and Improvers (basic knowledge of using a digital device) at Greenford Community Centre, Perivale Hive Library, Ealing Central Library, Acton Library and Rectory Park Community Centre.

- Access NHS and public services

Before joining our 6-week programme, we need to complete an assessment. This can be done through an appointment in person or over the phone.

Greenford Community Centre - Tablet, smartphone, and laptop sessions

- Monday Workshop: Mondays at 1pm-3pm (excluding bank holidays)
- 6-Week Programme using tablets and smartphones: Thursdays at 10.30am-12pm (Beginner) & 1pm-3pm (Improver)
- 6-Week Programme using laptops: Fridays at 11am-1pm (Improver) & 2pm-3.30pm (Beginner)

Perivale Hive Library - Laptop sessions only

- 6-Week Programme - Beginners: Mondays at 11am-12.30pm
- 6-Week Programme - Improvers: Mondays at 1pm-3pm

Ealing Central Library - Tablet and smartphone sessions only

- 6-Week Programme - Beginners: Tuesdays at 11.15am-12.45pm 
- 6-Week Programme - Improvers: Tuesdays at 12.45pm-2.45pm

Acton Library - Laptop sessions only

- 6-Week Programme - Beginners: Wednesdays at 11am-12.30pm
- 6-Week Programme - Improvers: Wednesdays at 1pm-3pm

Rectory Park Community Centre – Tablet and smartphone sessions only

Monday Workshop

We also operate a Monday Workshop every Monday (excluding bank holidays) from 1-3pm at Greenford Community Centre. These are for one off queries where clients can have a 1:1 appointment with us for 30 mins. A slot must be booked in advance and an assessment completed.

Technology Loan Scheme

We offer a Technology Loan Scheme where clients can loan a device for a period of 6-8 weeks. Devices include tablets, smartphones, laptops, and Alexa speakers.

Repair Workshop

Age UK Ealing & Middlesex Association for the Blind are bringing a Repair Workshop to Ealing residents. It will run one Monday a month between 1-3pm at Greenford Community Centre.

What can we help with?
• Windows PC & Laptop Support: OS upgrades, fresh installs, and hardware upgrades (parts are not covered and must be purchased by the service user)
• Laser Printer Servicing: Basic maintenance and repairs where possible.
• Hi-Fi & Media Player Repairs: CD, DVD, Blu-ray, and cassette player servicing, including belt and laser replacements.
• Mobile Phone Software Support: Software updates and reinstalls for Android & Apple devices.
