Advice and Casework Officer  

Role 1 - Bradford East – Hours, 21 per week 

Role 2 - Keighley & Ilkley – Hours, 18 per week 

 Funded till – 31st March 2027 with the possibility of being extended

Due to additional funding, we are searching for 2 Advice & Casework Officers to join our existing small and friendly team. You will have a passion for providing person centred approaches, enabling people to have choice and control, maintain their independence and improve their wellbeing.  

You will ensure that people are supported to understand the options available to them and provide advice on a variety of subject areas such as benefits, housing, health & social care, leisure & personal matters.  

Ideally, you will have knowledge of welfare benefits and a commitment to excellent customer service, be able to work independently and have intermediate IT skills. Previous experience of providing Advice and Casework is preferred but not essential for the role.  

This is a Hybrid working Role and will include 50% of the time between being based within a designated Community Hub, including home visits and 50% home working.  

The post will require frequent travel across the district and therefore a full driving license, appropriate business insurance cover and use of a car is essential. 

The role will be subject to two satisfactory references as well as an enhanced DBS Check.  

Please note that some training for the role, will be completed at our Wrose Community Hub. 

Pay band £24,500 – £26,000 FTE dependent on experience
