Utilising community transport and other assets to provide transport to social activities / shopping trips to local areas in the Malvern Hills District, to reduce Social Isolation and Loneliness.
What is it?
• Working in partnership to reduce loneliness and isolation, utilising community transport and other assets to target and support individuals and communities most in need.
• We aim to reduce loneliness and isolation, reduce demand for health & social care and improve health & wellbeing.
What can you expect?
• Expand the network of accessible community transport to social activities or events.
• Digital Training Sessions on using transport apps on mobile phones
• Improve community capacity & establish sustainable networks that will carry on without public sector resources
