Utilising community transport and other assets to provide transport to social activities / shopping trips to local areas in the Malvern Hills District, to reduce Social Isolation and Loneliness.

What is it?

• Community Action Malvern and District (CAMD) and Age UK Wyvern will work in partnership to reduce loneliness and isolation, utilising community transport and other assets to target and support individuals and communities most in need.
• We aim to reduce loneliness and isolation, reduce demand for health & social care and improve health & wellbeing.

What can you expect?

• Expand the network of accessible community transport to social activities or events.
• Digital Training Sessions on using transport apps on mobile phones
• Improve community capacity & establish sustainable networks that will carry on without public sector resources
