- By partnering with Age UK Wyvern, you will support us to deliver a range of needs led services in the community to support older people, across Herefordshire & South Worcestershire - helping to improve and sustain their quality of life.
Help us to help you
- Partnering with us will not only support our missions, but raise awareness of your business and maximise your understanding of potential clients that are over the age of 50.
- We can also help you and your staff with supporting any of their older loved ones.
The difference your support makes
- Enabling our Information & Advice team to carry out benefit checks, securing over £1.6m in unclaimed benefits for our clients.
- Enabling our Home from Hospital team to support on average 115 clients each month, with short term support, following a stay in hospital.
- Enabling our Help at Home team to provide support for around 193 clients each month, with household chores and gardening.
- Enabling our Dementia Wellbeing team to support the 1347 people who have been newly diagnosed with dementia, to attend regular dementia cafés, day trips, maintenance cognitive stimulation therapy and general advice and support.
- Enabling our Befriending team to support 296 people who are lonely or isolated at home, with companionship, a friendly voice and a listening ear.
- Enabling our Household Support Fund team to deliver vouchers, totaling an approximate £630,000, to eligible people across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Further providing over 500 free Home Energy Checks to clients to prepare for winter.

How can you get involved?
Charity of the Year
Choose us as your dedicated charity for the year. Engage your staff with tailored activities and events to support our cause.
Clothing bins
We can provide clothing donation bins for your business. Encourage your staff to fill the bin with unwanted clothing. When your bin needs emptying, let us know and we will organise a collection to take the donated clothing to our charity shops to be sold.
One bin of donated clothes generates at least £100 of income through our charity shops.

Donation pots
We can provide you with donation pots to display around your company's premesis. Encourage staff to drop any spare change they may have into the pots to raise money for our cause. Make sure the pots are kept secure and checked regularly.
Gift in kind
Giving a corporate gift in kind can be a valuable way of supporting our work. From pro-bono marketing support through to donating stock to our high street shops.
Payroll giving
Raise awareness with staff that they can fundraise for Age UK Wyvern through the payroll giving scheme. Where a donation is taken before tax, giving immediate tax relief on the donation.
Strategic partnership
Link your company objectives with ours. Together we can increase awareness, drive sales and raise much-needed funds to support older people in local communities across Herefordshire & South Worcestershire.
Staff volunteering
Your employees can volunteer with Age UK Wyvern. Just an hour a week could make a massive difference to an older person's life. Your employees could help us with befriending, supporting our dementia cafés, providing digital tutoring or helping us run our charity shops.
