What is Sheds Together?
Our Sheds Together project are community spaces for over 50s to connect, chat and create.
We have various projects available, across Herefordshire, that you can join. Including:
- Make and Mend Workshops
- Gardening Projects
- Cookery Clubs

Our sheds are supported by The Men's Shed Association, Herefordshire Community Foundation, Talk Community Hubs, The Prince's Countryside Fund, Herefordshire Council, Ledbury Rugby Football Club, Healthwatch Herefordshire and The Helping Hand Company.
Our projects
Cookery Club
What is it?
Our Cookery Club is a Talk Community Hub run with support from Herefordshire Council. We prepare and cook a range of different dishes, eat together and everyone is welcome to take some food home! Plenty of tea, coffee and chatting too.
Who is it for?
Anyone over the age of 50 is welcome who enjoys cooking or would like to learn more about cooking.
Is there a cost?
Yes, £3 per session (all ingredients and equipment is included).
When and where?
- Bromyard Methodist Church, 20 New Road, Bromyard, HR7 4AJ

Gardening Projects
What is it?
Do you enjoy being gardening and being outdoors? Come along to take part in gentle gardening and outdoor based activities. All abilities welcome and our site is accessible.
Come spring time we will be running two gardening-based projects that focus on outdoor and hands on based activities. You are also welcome to just come along for a chat and cuppa in the great outdoors.
Who is it for?
Those who enjoy being outdoors, gardening or like being hands on or those that would like to try growing your own vegetables, learn more about gardening or just meet like-minded people for a cuppa and a chat.
Is there a cost?
Yes, £3 per session (refreshments and materials will be provided as part of this charge).

Leominster

Make and Mend Workshops
What is it?
We aim to provide a social atmosphere, with the opportunity to use equipment in a supported way to Make and Mend items and learn new skills; benefiting from the expertise within the group.
Who is it for?
Our Make and Mend Workshops are open to anyone over the age of 50, with a capacity of 6 people at any given time.
Is there a cost?
Yes, £5 per session.
We will run a coffee boat within the workshop and everyone will be asked to chip in to replenish the boat as necessary. Please bring your own mug. You are also welcome to bring your own packed lunch.
