Remininscence Christmas Tree: Bauble Decorating

What is it?

Add a memory to a Christmas bauble for our Reminiscence Christmas tree; to be displayed at the Worcester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival.

Each bauble will carry their own story and will be a personal memory from the individual who decorated it. Each bauble is wooden (7.5cm x 7cm (w x h)) and will feature a single printed photograph, provided by you.

We will hold drop-in sessions to allow you to come along and decorate your own bauble(s). Our team will be on hand to provide you with support, share an interest in your memories and of course, provide refreshments!

When and where?

Each drop-in session will last for around 30 mins, with slots available:

• 11am - 2pm
• Saturday 18th November and Saturday 25th November
• Bank House, 7 Shaw Street, Worcester, WR1 3QQ

Is there a cost?

• These are FREE events but donations are gratefully received!

Guildhall Christmas Bash with Isy & Louis

What is it?

Join Isy, an exceptionally talented musician from New College Worcester, and the Mayor of Worcester for a free Christmas Bash!

The bash will feature multiple performances from Isy, an exceptionally talented musician from new College Worcester, as well as a number of hosted tours of the Guildhall by the Mayor of Worcester himself.

Sing along and toe tap away! Expect to hear theatre and carol favourites, such as Silent Night, Away in a Manager, The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. You might even be encouraged to sing along with the Hippopotamus Song, so don't be shy!

There will also be a raffle on the day, presenting the opportunity for you to win the festive spoils! As well as refreshments and cakes provided by the WI on the day.

Guided Tours

The Mayor of Worcester will be offering 2 guided tours during the event. Each are free and have a capacity of 25 people. If you wish to meet the Mayor and take a tour of the Guildhall you MUST book this in advance in addition to your event ticket.

Christmas Market Coach Trips

What is it?

Let's get festive! Join Age UK Worcester & Malvern Hills, as we embark on 3 Christmas market coach trips this festive season. We will be heading to the Bristol, Stratford-upon-Avon and Gloucester Quays Christmas markets!

Energy and Safety Roadshow

What is it?

Pop along to our Energy and Safety Roadshow and see us for a coffee, chat and access a wide range of information.

Informative talks will take place throughout the morning, addressing various home, energy and winter preparation topics.

Age UK Worcester & Malvern Hills will discuss various free support services, inc:

• Home Energy Checks
• Household Support Fund
• Digital Inclusion
• Signposting to other Age UK Worcester & Malvern Hills and community support services

West Mercia Police will be present to talk home safety, security and crime prevention

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service will be present to talk home fire ssafety and prevention. They will also be able to offer FREE fire safety checks at your home.
