Merger of Age UK Malvern and District and Age UK Worcester and District

Age UK Brand Partners operating in Malvern and District and Worcester and District have merged to become one organisation known as: AGE UK WORCESTER AND MALVERN HILLS (AGE UK W&MH).

The range of services currently provided by each organisation will continue and expand. The charity will continue to operate from their existing offices in Worcester and Malvern and once COVID restrictions have been lifted both offices will be open to clients - just as they have always been.

The Boards of Trustees will comprise members of the previous boards. The previous chair of AGE UK Malvern and District, Mr Anthony Hartley- Woolley MBE JP, will become Chair of AGE UK W&MH. The Chief Executive Officer, Clare Thomas, is supported by staff teams from Worcester and Malvern office.

As Anthony Hartley-Woolley says “staff and trustees from both organisations have been working in partnership since 2019 demonstrating the capacity we have together to give our support to older people in these geographical areas. The merged organisation will help us to develop further the services we can offer to older people, enable the spread of best practice, support optimal use of resources, and enhance the delivery of current and additional coordinated services for older people supported by AGE UK W&MH.
