Talk Money Week 2021

Age UK Worcester & Malvern Hills know that money matters. So did you know that you could be eligible for some extra benefits? We can help you check your eligibility and help you get what your entitled to.
Why Talk Money?
People in the UK don’t talk about their money enough. Despite the COVID-19 crisis affecting our finances, 9 in 10 UK adults – that’s 47 million of us – don’t find it any easier to talk about money, or don’t even discuss it at all.
Held from 8 to 12 November, Talk Money Week aims to reduce the stigma around money by encouraging conversations among families, friends, neighbours, customers, colleagues and communities. Talking openly about money can have a huge impact on tackling money worries, and is important for our overall health and relationships. The impact of Covid-19 has made it more important than ever to start conversations about money to look after our financial wellbeing.
Everyone has money worries – and for many, the challenges of the pandemic have brought these to the fore – but just as you can take action to improve your physical health, you can also take some simple steps to feel more in control of your financial wellbeing too.
What do we do?
We have an expert team of Information & Advice advisors, who are on hand to help you with a plethora of things. This includes our popular FREE benefit check service for all over 50s in the Worcester & Malvern Hills area. With a few bits of information about you, your health and your finanical circumstances, we will be able to check and advise you if you could go on to claim a benefit.
No matter the result of the benefit check we will advise you on the best steps forward, as well as support you throughout the entire application process (should you decide to apply for an eligble benefit).
On top of this we can also provide you with FREE Legal Advice. Our Legal Advice expert will also be able to help you with writing a Will and both types of Lasting Power of Attorney (both of which are subject to charges).
