Stock wanted

We urgently need stock to fund our crucial work
The staff and volunteers at Age UK Worcester and Malvern Hills have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to provide practical and emotional support to thousands of older people, and to raise the money to fund these services - as a charity we rely heavily on our charity shops for income.
We will soon be preparing to re-open our shops, on the proposed date of 12th April 2021, but we need stock. The need to quarantine stock before it is prepared for sale and the consequent limitations on the amount that we have been able to take has led to a stock shortage.
As Duncan Albutt, Head of Retail says “Our shops are very lucky to have huge support from our local communities and we would ask that if anyone has been organising or clearing out during lockdown that they consider donating items to us – whatever they are. Under strict social distancing rules our van drivers will also once again be collecting stock.
We especially require furniture but also clothes, books, music, bric-a-brac, small electrical – you name it we would welcome it. We will be accepting donations before the shops re-open so please contact us to find out where you can drop them off”.
You can easily fill out our online collection request form and we will put you onto our waiting list for when our van drivers resume working. It is our hope that this will commence from Monday 8th March.
