We're coming back!
Age UK Worcester & District are pleased to announce that all 5 of our charity shops will be reopening their doors in the coming weeks. Plans are underway to prepare the shops to be COVID-19 friendly, this means that your shopping experience will differ slightly from what we're all used to but know that we are doing our best to make sure your experience is still the best it can be!
Clare Thomas, CEO of Age UK Worcester & District said,
"Although it has been a tough few months for everyone, it is good that we can start to see some light at the end of the tunnel. As a small local charity that is 80% reliant on our charity shop income, it is a muched welcome relief to be able to announce our opening plans. I want to personally thank each and every single person who has donated to us and helped keep our charity operating, without your kindness we would not of been able to continue. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back to our shops soon!"
All staff in our shops will be protected and well prepared for their safety and yours. We want to stress that everyone who visits our shops follow the procedures outlined upon entry. Signs, posters, floor markings and our staff will be present throughout and we would like all guests to take the time to follow the guidelines set by them.
The current plan is for all shops to reopen on Monday 15th June 2020. All shops will be operating reduced opening hours which are at the moment still to be decided. Please do check back here or on our social channels for these updates.
