Winter Wrapped Up?
We all know that winter happens every year. But with increasingly unpredictable weather, it's important to think about getting ready for winter in advance.
We have secured funding to support the most vulnerable people with a FREE Home Energy Check.
As part of our Home Energy Check, you can expect:
• An assessment of your property
• FREE installation of energy saving equipment, where appropriate
• Advice on keeping warm and well
• Advice on saving energy and paying less
• Advice on other support available through Age UK Worcester, Malvern Hills & Hereford Localities
• Where appropriate, referrals to other agencies for further support
You are eligible if you are:
• A Worcestershire resident and either:
• A home owner, tenant or live in a mobile / park home
• Worried about energy costs or are in fuel poverty
• Aged 50+, Herefordshire resident and either:
• A home owner, private tenant or live in a mobile / park home
• Worried about energy costs or are in fuel poverty
Household Support Fund
A fund has been granted by the Government to help pensioners during this very difficult economic period. We are currently working with Worcestershire & Herefordshire County Councils to distribute payments and vouchers to eligible pensioners.
