Look after yourself this winter

Published on 14 December 2021 12:32 PM

Here are 6 ways that you can look after yourself this winter:

  1. Get your free flue jab: If you are over 50 years old (or a carer). Also check which other winter vaccinations you are eligible for.
  2. If you are worried about your health, check it out: Call 111, speak to your doctor or local pharmacy. The NHS is there to support you.
  3. Ask for help if you need it: Reach out if you need support with things like shopping or cleaning.
  4. Talk to someone if you are feeling out of sorts or lonely: Your mental health matters. Contact us and we can help you stay connected over Christmas.
  5. Keep moving and eat enough: Stay as active as possible and keep an eye on weightloss.
  6. Make sure your home is warm enough: There is financial support available if you are struggling to pay your bills.
