Our experienced and friendly handyperson can help with many jobs around your home
Do you need help with household repairs?
Our Handyperson will need to ask you some questions about you and your home in order to enable us to make an accurate assessment of how best we can help you. The assessment is free and you are under no obligation to order any work.
The Service is available to people who are aged 50 years and over who need help to keep their homes safe, comfortable and secure.
We take all steps to minimise any risk from Covid 19 and will discuss any requirements with you to ensure your safety and that of our Handyperson.
There is a charge for this service and income received from this paid-for service helps contribute to funding our free charitable services, including our Information & Advice and Telephone Support Service.
What kind of jobs do we do?
- Changing light bulbs, fuses & plugs
- Supply and/or fit keysafes
- Small carpentry jobs
- Household repairs and decorating
- Unblocking sinks and replacing toilet seats
- Moving and assembling furniture
- Small plastering jobs
What we can't help with:
- Repair/installation of gas appliances
- Complex plumbing or electrical work
- Landscaping
**We are now able to offer a gardening service**
If we cannot help then we can supply you with a copy of our Word of Mouth Traders List.
