Age UK Email Enquiry Service Christmas arrangements 2024
Please be advised that our Information and Advice telephone line will be closed from 2:30pm on Tuesday 16 December 2024.The Email Enquiry Service will shut for business on midday Wednesday 18 December 2024. Any email enquiries received before midday on 18 December should receive a full response within five working days. Any enquiries sent after this date will not receive a response until the New Year.
All Service will re-open from Monday 6 January 2025.

Social Care
If you have enquiries about the provision of social care services, whether at home or in a care or nursing home, you can contact the local authority.
If you have safeguarding concerns about someone being abused or neglected, contact the local authority safeguarding team (see section 4 of the factsheet linked to). If the person is in immediate danger, contact the Police on 999.
Health
If you have urgent health problems, telephone 111. This is a 24-hour helpline in England and Wales for advice on urgent but non-life-threatening symptoms, including dental related problems.
Homelessness
If you have an enquiry about homelessness or threatened homelessness, contact your local authority as soon as possible.
