ICT Technician

In the role of ICT Technician you will:

  • Be the first point of contact with staff via our helpdesk, managing and escalating ICT tickets.
  • Carry out first line tickets such as new accounts, printer issues, equipment allocation etc.
  • Work in collaboration with your colleagues, help develop digital initiatives which will further modernize and transform our organisation.
  • Manage Microsoft Office 365 admin tasks.
  • Monitor key security areas within Microsoft 365.
  • Create user accounts and manage account hygiene.
  • Manage, monitor, and update hardware.
  • Quickly identify issues, provide support, or escalate.
  • Attend regular meetings with Head of Digital Transformation and working groups to support Digital Transformation and initiatives.
  • Work from various locations within Wirral; our two main hubs and visit any of our nine shops to resolve ICT issues.
  • Take an interest in and be part of our social media team.
  • Attend regular training, both in person and virtual.
  • Keep accurate records of ICT tickets, audit of IT stock, compile a monthly statistics report and ensure reports are submitted in timely manner.
  • Maintain strong links with colleagues to support their work with clients and the wider community.

35 hours per week
