Our dementia services
Daybreak Respite
The Daybreak Respite service provides day support for people living with dementia, which includes stimulating and meaningful activities to promote confidence and social interaction. The service also provide much needed respite to carers. All refreshments and a two-course lunch provided.
Locations: Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Storrington, Horsham, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Brighton and Burgess Hill.
Sunshine Seniors
Sunshine Seniors is a weekly support group for people over 50 - whether you are looking to be
social, remain active or maybe have worries about your memory or are living with Dementia this session will provide inclusive space for all.
The sessions will take place weekly providing 4 hours of varied activities, with special guests, entertainment and trips planned during the year.
All refreshments provided, members can purchase hot lunch from the onsite café or bring packed lunch.
Location: Crawley
Mind Matters
This group provides weekly support for adults living with early onset dementia or those with a new diagnosis, with activities aimed at maintaining cognitive and physical ability. This service is based on the principles of cognitive stimulation therapy (CST). The National institute for health and care Excellence (NICE) and social care institute for Excellence (SCIE) guidance (2006) recommend that people with mild to moderate Dementia should be given the opportunity to take part in a CST Programme.

Carer and Cared for Peer Support
In this group we provide peer support services for people living with dementia and those caring for them. We provide a safe space where people can share experiences and receive support from peers and staff. Guest speakers are arranged from time to time along with session activities. Refreshments provided.
