About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator to join our vibrant Haywards Heath Centre, Lamb House. This position is more than just a job – it's a chance to become a vital source of support and connection for people aged 50+.

As the Coordinator, you will be the heart of Lamb House, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the building, overseeing the various activities and services we offer, and supporting our efforts throughout the wider Mid Sussex District. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to placing people aged 50+ at the forefront of everything we do. Every day is an opportunity to make a real difference in the community.

What you will need to be successful in the role: 

  • A confident, resilient, and energetic individual.
  • Someone who approaches each day with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a flexible environment.
  • Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of older people.
  • An understanding of and interest in older people, their situations and the opportunities they may want and/or need.
  • You will have proven excellent organisational and communication.
  • You should have an understanding of safeguarding and ability to follow policies and procedures in this and other areas, as set by AUKWSBH or law.
  • You will need to have Excellent IT and computer skills including good working knowledge of email, Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • You will need a full driving licence and use of a car in order to travel in the local community as required.
