Jingle Bakes

Enjoy your favourite treats and spread some festive cheer whilst helping raise funds for Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove. Organise a Jingle Bakes Christmas bake sale, or simply hold a coffee morning or afternoon tea this Winter and help us to support those most in need.

Whether you’re a natural in the kitchen or a complete novice, you'll be baking up a (snow)storm in no time! Big fan of gingerbread biscuits? Great, bake as many as you can and invite friends, family and colleagues to enjoy them. A dab hand at a yule log? Fabulous, why not make two? If baking really isn’t your thing, nip to the supermarket and cheat. Anyone can join in, whatever their age, from kids to grandparents and everyone in between!

Your recipe for success

1. Choose how you want to hold your bake sale or coffee morning. At home, at work, with friends, neighbours or at school - it's up to you!  You could invite older people in your local community to join you and provide an opportunity to socalise at the same time.

2. Bake or buy your delicious treats. You could encourage your guests to bring something too.  

3. Raise much-needed funds to support Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove. Ask for a donation for each slice, cake, biscuit or hot drink.  Anything you can raise means we can give older people the support they need. Please send any money raised by cheque to us: AUKWSBH, Suite 2 Anchor Springs, Littlehampton, BN17 6BP.  Don't forget to tell us who you are and what you did so we can thank you!  Alternatively, you can donate anything you raise from your bake sale online here.
