We have a great gym for older adults offering you the chance to be fit at 50+. Improve your fitness with a range of workouts for everyone! You can choose whatever suits you as we have exercise for over 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond. The Laburnum Gym is fitted with the latest equipment that is adjustable and wheelchair accessible. We have a positive and friendly atmosphere and a sense of community. 

Medical recommendations

We are able to take NHS medical recommendations from GPs for people with a variety of conditions (such as hypertension, obesity, asthma, mental health problems and back problems) and will tailor a programme of gym work to suit each person's needs.

One-to-one private appointments are also available. These last for one hour and are priced at £25 per session or ten sessions for £200.

Fitness Classes

We have a huge range of classes on offer for a variety of participants to include, Yoga, Pilates, Dance, Tai Chi, Circuits Training, Chair Based Exercise and Strength & Balance Classes.
 
We also offer a variety of Fitness Classes in the community.  For example we already have a qualified Instructor conducting classes at the Stanley Court Residential Home. We aim to attend more Residential Homes in the future.  If interested please do not hesitate to contact above.

Prices

To use the gym, you must be a member of the Laburnum Centre, membership costs £35 for 6 months or £65 for 12 months.
 
Gym Pay As You Go - £3.50 per session.
Direct Debit - £54 quarterly.
Fitness Classes - prices range from £1 a class to £5 a class.
