Today is #GivingTuesdayNow - a global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. This new day is organised by GivingTuesday, and is being held in addition to the annually scheduled GivingTuesday event (that will still take place on December 1, 2020). How you can get involved
You can get involved in a variety of ways – whether it’s helping a neighbour, supporting a local issue, sharing a skill, or giving to a charity - every act of generosity counts. #GivingTuesdayNow is focused on opportunities to give back to our communities and local causes whilst staying safe and still practicing social distancing.
- Donate food and other essentials which can be delivered to vulnerable older people in the local community - https://www.ageuk.org.uk/brightonandhove/get-involved/emergency-coronavirus-appeal/
