Raise funds in your workplace

There are a wide variety of fundraising activities that can be done at your place of work. Have fun and raise much needed funds at the same time. Not only will you be helping older people in Westminster, but these ideas are great for team-building too.

We even have some simple-to-plan ideas for you:

Bake sale:

Sell homemade cakes at a workplace bake sale and raise funds for Age UK Westminster.

Dress down day:

Ditch the smart dress code and turn up to work in your favourite casual clothes and charge a small fee for doing so.

Workplace raffle:

Ask your workplace or colleagues to donate prizes which can then be raffled off.

Payroll giving:

Ask your workplace to set up a payroll giving scheme. This is a really easy way for you to donate to Age UK Westminster. Any donations are taken before tax, this means that for every £1 you give us, it will only cost 80p.

Lunch and learn:

hold lunchtime information sessions on an interesting topic. People can bring their own lunch and pay a small fee to attend.

Office potluck:

Sell tickets to an office potluck. It will make a change from the usual sandwich and it’s a great way to bring people together.
