Avery Care Home Wandsworth Common art calendar fundraiser

At Christmas, our neighbours at Avery Care Home Wandsworth Common created an art calendar as a novel way of raising funds for Age UK Wandsworth.

Residents created some incredibly beautiful pieces of art to feature in the calendar (see a selection below).

Visitors to the care home were able to purchase it for a donation and this has proved to have been a brilliant enterprise.

At our January LGBTQ+ Coffee Morning, which Avery hosts for us on the last Tuesday of the month, there was a big surprise for us when Thomas Holden, Care Home Manager presented us with a BIG cheque!
