NHS Winter Engagement Fund 2024

Through its Winter Engagement Fund 2024/25, NHS South West London is offering small grants of up to £500 to help local organisations talk to communities about winter health and wellbeing.

Age UK Wandsworth has successfully bid for funding to provide winter health information and advice over 2 weeks of activities in November as detailed below - The sessions will promote healthy and active lifestyles, mental wellbeing and helping to reduce social isolation, with a particular focus on winter health issues including winter illnesses prevention and treatment, winter vaccinations, staying warm and well at home, going outdoors safely and avoiding falls.

In addition to these specific sessions, we will be hosting NHS winter vaccination clinics during the first week of November (4^th – 8^th Nov 2024). The clinics will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of that week between 11am-2pm at the Gwynneth Morgan Day Centre.

• Ready, Sit, Go! Seated exercise; free hot drinks
