2023: A Diamond Year for Age UK Wandsworth!

2023 marked the celebration of Age UK Wandsworth's 60th anniversary and a year-long fundraising campaign of activities and events. We are now thrilled to announce we raised a staggering £13,700! To all those who donated money or fundraised on our behalf, you’re all diamonds! We couldn’t have done it without you.

The fundraising year kicked off with an 80 metre abseil down London's Arcelormittal Orbital, and was followed by other fun activities including climbing the Cutty Sark Rig, a pub quiz at The King's Arms Wandsworth, running the Royal Parks Half Marathon, carol singing at Putney Train Station, a stall at Wandsworth Town Christmas Fair, and the Santa in The City fun run. Finally, we wrapped up our Diamond Year celebrations with a festive Carol Concert held at St Mary's Church, Battersea.

Thanks once again to all those who took part - your generosity is much appreciated, and every penny raised will go towards helping us in our mission to 'Help People Age Well in Wandsworth'! We look forward to another 60 years of service in our community.
