About us
Age UK Wandsworth is a local, independent charity working in the community to support older people and their carers.
Who we are
Age UK Wandsworth has been supporting older residents across Wandsworth for over 60 years. We are an independent, well-established and trusted charity that serves approximately 15,000 residents a year in Wandsworth. Our goal is to help residents age well in Wandsworth and to build confidence and resilience in order to stay living healthily and independently for as long as possible.
Where you can find us
We operate with a head office in Wandsworth Town, a day centre in between Wandsworth Town and Wandsworth Common, and two further sites in Roehampton that we use for community outreach.
How we are funded
We are not funded by a national charity or the government, so we rely on your support to keep serving the community in Wandsworth. We are supported by donations from the public, local businesses and some charitable grants.
