Silver Sunday 2024

What a weekend! During the weekend of the 5th and 6th October we invited people to join us in the city centre to celebrate older people, later life and all the wonderful things on offer in our lovely community.

Saturday 5th October showcased the beautiful Cathedral with live acts, entertainment and a delicous afternoon tea.

On Sunday 6th October The Ridings Shopping Centre once again opened it's doors to us and our many partner organisations so we could fill the floors with stalls filled with local information, exercise sessions, live music, dancing and of course, a nice cuppa.

We want to say a big thank you to the people at Our Year, Wakefield Council for their support and funding to help us make this day as special as it was.
