Platinum Jubilee Party

We had a fantastic time at The Ridings Shopping Centre celebrating the Platinum Jubilee.  Over 200 picnics were served along with hundreds of cups of tea and coffee!

Visitors were greeted by Age UK Wakefield District, Morrisons and Turning Point staff as they found a seat and enjoyed a free, picnic lunch.

Karen Clegg provided entertainment by singing the songs of yesteryears with a finale of God Save the Queen.  There was plenty of singing and dancing enjoyed by attendees and helpers alike!
