Home Support Assistant

We’re looking for friendly, caring individuals to provide assistance to older people in their own homes in the Torbay area.

To provide general household / domestic tasks on a regular basis within Age UK Torbay's clients home.

Main Tasks:

General Cleaning to include:

• cleaning toilets, hand basins, baths & showers
• cleaning kitchens, sinks, work surfaces, cooker tops, fridges & sorting cupboards
• Hoovering, sweeping & mopping floors
• Dusting & polishing of furniture, window sills, skirting, shelves and fitments
• Changing the beds, Laundry & Ironing
• Emptying waste bins and transporting to external bins
• Light Cooking Duties as required by the client or Age UK Torbay
• Escorted Shopping or outings
• Pension Collection, paying bills, running errands

You will need to be available to work at least 16 hours per week Monday to Friday
Flexible hours – to be arranged between employer and candidate
