Hours of Work: 18.75 hours per week (permanent contract)
Responsible to: Charity Shop Manager
Location: The TAD Centre Middlesbrough

To support sustainable income generation through the sale of donated items on online selling platforms.

Job description:
The Online Charity Shop Assistant will sell donated items through Age UK Teesside’s online shopping platforms to support older people in Teesside experiencing Loneliness, Isolation and Poverty.
You would work two and a half days a week (18.5 hours), we understand the importance of flexibility, working days and times can be discussed. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
The Role Involves:
Researching and valuing items online
Creating engaging descriptions for items
Listing items on online platforms including Vinted, Ebay, Gumtree and Facebook Marketplace
Packaging items for dispatch and posting
Dealing with customer queries
Arranging collections of donated goods

Person Specification:
A knowledge of online selling platforms is preferred
An interest in clothing/valuing items
Driving license/own car preferred
Proficiency in computer skills required.
