Celebrating Our Staff

Each quarter, we come together to celebrate the achievements of our team.

We hold a team vote for our STAFF SUPERSTAR, an award given to someone who embodies our five core values of taking pride in what we do, striving for excellence, putting people first, acting with integrity and respecting others.
 
We’re delighted to announce that one of the winners of our latest “Staff Superstar Awards” is ADELE JONES.
 
Adele is an Information and Advice Plus Worker here at Age UK Tameside, and these are the reasons her colleagues chose her as a STAFF SUPERSTAR:
 
“Adele for being a really supportive co-worker”
 
“Adele because she ran the I & A on her own during lockdown”
 
“Adele is always happy and helpful which is a really great attitude to work with”
 
“Adele worked single handed on I&A in the first lock down and worked with so many people who needed help during the four months”
 
“Adele took time out to train another member of staff at the charity so they could temporarily join the team while their service was closed”
 
“Adele is always willing to help, and supported new staff with closing up the centre so they felt confident when they did it alone”
 
“Adele is kind and thoughtful of the needs of other people in the team”

Not only do we have one winner of our Staff Superstar Award, this time we have two! And we’re delighted to announce that our second winner is PETE LLOYD.
 
Pete is one of our Get Up & Go Coaches here at Age UK Tameside, and these are the reasons his colleagues chose him as their “Staff Superstar”
