Age UK Sutton’s Dementia Support service will be offering support to people with dementia and those that care for them.

Dementia Support Service

Age UK Sutton’s Dementia Support service will be offering people with dementia and those that care for them:

✅A central point of access to help you to manage your diagnosis and enable you to connect with local support more effectively
✅A Dementia Adviser service offering information and advice to enable you to live well with dementia
✅Timely access to support you on diagnosis, throughout your dementia journey and as things change
✅Access to regular monthly facilitated peer support to gain support from peers, learn strategies and share experiences from others in a similar situation.

Dementia Peer Groups

Pick your local group - Wallington, Cheam or Central Sutton - and join us once a month on a Friday morning, or our group at Roundshaw once a month on a Thursday.

The groups are informal with time to get to know one another, and tea, coffee and biscuits are served.

There are also guest speakers or topics each month, with relevant information about living well with dementia and local services which can support you.

Groups are run by Age UK Sutton staff and supported by volunteers, all of whom are extremely friendly and helpful.
