Pilates for Seniors. Strengthen your core, improve balance, posture and flexibility for longevity.

About Pilates

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s. It aims to strengthen muscles while improving our postural alignment flexibility and muscle balance. Pilates moves tend to target the core, although the exercises work other areas of your body as well. A typical Pilates workout is 60 minutes.

Becky's classes are traditional mat-based pilates but she does use small props in some of her workouts. These include softballs, bands and pilates rings.

About Becky

Becky started her career as a dancer and progressed at the age of 19 to becoming a qualified Dance Teacher and Exercise to Music Instructor. Becky enjoys working with people. She is qualified as an Advanced Level 3 Personal Trainer and has since progressed her expertise, becoming qualified in many areas across Personal Training and Group Fitness, such as Pilates, Yoga, and Barefoot Exercise.

Becky is also a Level 3 older adult fitness specialist and enjoys teaching the older generation.
