Innocent Big Knit - Surrey 2025

Published on 31 March 2025 08:00 AM
Inviting all knitters and crochet enthusiasts young and old to join in the fun and get creative for the innocent Big Knit Campaign 2025!
The Big Knit is Age UK’s partnership with innocent drinks which brings together the country’s crafters to knit or crochet little hats for the tops of innocent smoothie bottles. These hats will appear in stores all over the country in October 2025. For every ‘Big Knit’ little hat made Age UK Surrey receives 30p. All funds raised by Age UK Surrey support the older people in our community by providing local services and activities.
But it takes a lot of little hats to make a big difference, so we urgently need your help! Can you help us make 20,000 hats by 20th June 2025?
How can you join in?
This year’s Big Knit theme is celebrating Surrey Day – the annual celebration of all that is great about Surrey and the 80th Anniversary of VE Day on Saturday 10th May: www.visitsurrey.com
- Can you gather your knitting friends and host your own KNIT-A-THON and see how many hats can be made in a day? Get creative and knit little hat creations with the Surrey Day or the 80th Anniversary of VE day theme. Other patterns are available HERE or on the Big Knit website
