Our thanks too to Sue Zirps CEO of Age UK Surrey, John Burbridge Chair of the Board of Trustees, Joy Allen Vice-Chair of Age UK Surrey and Mike Roberts, Tech Support Lead for attending and supporting the event.
As always with a big event like this we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the support of our amazing volunteers. Our many thanks go to the staff and volunteers from Surrey Masons (directing on the car park), Opus, Barrett Homes, Radfield Home Care and Age UK Surrey who ensured that the event ran smoothly.
We are grateful to our sponsors; Headline Design & Print for printing the Order of Service, Godalming Funeral Service and Radfield Care. Thank you to Tesco Guildford and Sainsburys in Godalming for providing mince pies. This meant that we could provide free refreshments and mince pies too.
A big thank you to the Venerable Stuart Beake, The Acting Dean of Guildford, and to everyone at Guildford Cathedral – a truly magnificent setting for our annual carol service.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024.
