Christa Hunter Sculpture

We were so fortunate last week to be gifted a figure by the hugely talented Sculptor Christa Hunter. The statue featuring a little boy is based on a Grimm’s Fairy Tale who according to Christa “can be a reminder for everyone to love and hug elderly people who so often feel lonely and lost”.

The statue will be housed permanently at entrance of The Clockhouse Community Centre in Milford.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Christa Hunter.  We are so grateful that Christa chose Age UK Surrey to look after Jack (the sculpture) and we look forward to talking about him to visitors who come the Clockhouse.
