Our annual Carol Service at Guildford Cathedral on Friday 16th December was truly a special occasion. Hundreds of people attended, including Mayors across the County, and enjoyed the performances from the Guildford Cathedral Singers, Organist Marcus McDevitt and Tormead Prep School choir.

Our thanks too to Sue Zirps CEO of Age UK Surrey, Hon Lavinia Sealy DL, President of Age UK Surrey, John Burbridge Chair of the Board of Trustees, Joy Allen Vice-Chair and Philip Currie Treasurer of Age UK Surrey for supporting and attending the event.
As always with a big event like this we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the support of our amazing volunteers. Our many thanks go to all the volunteers from Surrey Masons and Age UK Surrey who ensured that the event ran smoothly.
We are grateful to our sponsors; Headline Design & Print for printing the Order of Service and Robyn Horsburgh for kindly making hundreds of delicious mince pies. This meant that we could provide free refreshments and mince pies too.
A big thank you to the Very Reverend Dianna Gwilliams, Dean of Guildford, and to everyone at Guildford Cathedral – a truly magnificent setting for our annual service.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended and to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024.
