Christmas Presents 2023

A big shout out to the BP staff, Royal Holloway University Student Volunteering Team, and Enterprise staff who donated presents for older people this Christmas. Your generously donated presents were distributed in the community by Age UK Surrey staff and Farnham community nursing teams and in Farnham Community Hospital.

The Christmas Project for Santa’s Workshop organised by Royal Holloway Volunteering was a major success. Santa hats were initially sold to students and the money raised was then used to buy gifts. 23 volunteers gave up their time to carefully pack these presents into 75 beautiful gift bags for Age UK Surrey.

Angel Tree Gift Giving Collection by Enterprise, was supported by Voluntary Support North Surrey. Thank you to Enterprise, and many of their employees, for managing this amazing scheme, which makes a difference during the festive period.

Their carefully chosen gifts made such a difference to our clients who were alone or struggling during the festive season. Thank you to the staff of Enterprise and BP and the Royal Holloway Student Volunteering Team. Their initiative, generosity and thoughtfulness was hugely appreciated by so many and made a big difference to them at Christmas!
