In today's digital age, technology plays a vital role in our daily lives. From staying connected with loved ones to accessing essential services, the digital world offers a wealth of opportunities. However, not everyone has equal access to these benefits, which is where Age UK Stockport steps in.

At Age UK Stockport, we are committed to promoting digital inclusion, ensuring that no one is left behind in this digital revolution. We understand that technology can be intimidating, and navigating the online world can be challenging. That's why we offer a range of services to empower individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

You are welcome to bring your own devices as we have free Wi-Fi that you can connect to. For those who do not have their own, we have devices available that people are able to use whilst here.

Our approach to digital inclusion is flexible and tailored to meet the unique needs of our community. Our dedicated team of Age UK Stockport Staff and SkyUp Volunteers are here to guide you every step of the way.

Lending Library of Technology

Age UK Stockport are part of the Digi-know network, who can offer a data bank and lending library through StartPoint. They provide access to essential digital tools, including tablets, sim cards and data, to ensure that you have the resources you need to get started. We also work closely with Community computers who sell affordable refurbished devices. No need to invest in expensive technology; we make it accessible to everyone.

Our commitment to digital inclusion goes beyond providing equipment. We're here to assist you with a variety of tasks, such as:

• NHS App: Learn how to use the NHS app for easy access to healthcare services and information.
• Online Shopping: Discover the convenience of online shopping and stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends.
• Staying Connected: Connect with loved ones near and far through video calls, social media, and messaging apps.
• Troubleshooting devices: If you are experiencing difficulties with your device, our volunteers are happy to sit and work through these with you.
