Age UK Staffordshire has completed a recruitment drive to encourage new Trustees for the charity.
Trustees serve a vital role to the charity as dedicated, passionate people, of all ages, with a range of professional and life experience.
Age UK Staffordshire, a leading charity in Staffordshire providing services and support for local older people, recently launched an opportunity for people to express their interest and join the charity's board of Trustees.
As an Age UK Staffordshire Trustee, the role is paramount to helping guide the charity as it continues to focus on helping more of the older people who need support the most.
David Hole, Interim CEO at Age UK Staffordshire, said: 'On behalf of Age UK Staffordshire I’d just like to say a massive thank you for all those individuals who registered an interest.
'Over the next two months we'll induct six new Trustees. It is an exciting time for our organisation.
'Our trustees are essential to our success as a charity: monitoring our strategic objectives, helping to govern Age UK Staffordshire and direct how it is managed and run.'
'I look forward to introducing the new Trustees to our fantastic staff, clients and extended family of stakeholders soon.'
