Celebrity ambassador announced for intergenerational Children Matter project

Age UK Staffordshire are excited to announce that actor Robert Powell has offered his support to their Children Matter Project.

The charity is looking for funding to continue their valuable and innovative intergenerational project.

Robert Powell, a British television and film actor, is best known for the title role in ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ (1977) and as the fictional secret agent Richard Hannay in the 1978 film ‘The Thirty Nine Steps’. He also starred with Jasper Carrott in the BBC sitcom ‘The Detectives’.

Robert has recognised the great work that Age UK Staffordshire's fabulous volunteers have been doing across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent. He is looking forward to getting to know more about the team and will help to celebrate the charity's successes. Age UK Staffordshire are hoping his endorsement will encourage funders to invest in their vision.
